Did you know that thesis costs are not included in tuition? That’s right! All costs related to thesis work must be raised by the student. That’s where you come in! Please donate to “Change the Story.”

WHO WE ARE
Amanda is a multi-tasking performer, educator, mother, wife, grad student and AmSAT certified Alexander Technique teacher. This project is guided by the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Department of Dance Faculty in partial fulfillment of work towards an MFA in Dance. www.AmandaBlairMacDonald.com.
Sara is also a master multi-tasker who dances, choreographs, teaches, and has just completed both an MFA and a GL-CMA and is currently pursuing a teacher certification in Alexander Technique. www.SaraYanneyDance.com

WHAT WE ARE PRODUCING
A dance theatre concert entitled “Change the Story,” created, produced and performed by Amanda Blair MacDonald and Sara Yanney. “Change the Story” is divided into two parts. In Part 1: “Girl Messages” and Part 2: “When I Grow Up”,  we explore the kinds of messages we received and internalized as children, and how changing the story changes our experience in the world. Please note: the Milwaukee performance is a solo concert with Amanda only.

HOW IS THE MONEY USED?
Your donations help us pay for all the costs related to creating our concert including theatre rental, production staff, lighting and sound design, costumes, props, music licensing, photography, videography, promotional materials, and rehearsal studio rental..

THANK YOU GIFTS
All four previously scheduled concerts have been complete. There are no tickets currently available. All donations receive a personal thank you email from Sara and Amanda
