Introduction to the Alexander Technique:  Are you curious about what the Alexander Technique is and how it can help you? Join Amanda MacDonald and Sarah Mayhan for an online introduction to the principles of the Alexander Technique and how you can apply them to your every day activities. You may take this class on its own or as preparation for our upcoming 8-week series “Mindfulness in Action” beginning on June 9.

Take-A-Break: Tired of sitting (or standing) at your computer? Feeling droopy? Have brain fog? Join me for 30 minutes of mindful movement gleaned from Alexander Technique, BrainDance, developmental movement, yoga, and more. Afterwards you’ll take your centered, calm, energized focus into the rest of your day.

Alexander Technique Reading Group:   Join Amanda MacDonald and Senior teacher Beret Arcaya for an hour of reading, conversation, and community.

We are currently reading “Use of The Self,” in which F.M. Alexander describes the process by which he set about to observe himself and learn how thought becomes activity.
